The history

The main building was build during the turn of the previous century. In those days tourism did not exist in the way we know today. Back then, krabaaltje was one of many fishermen's houses spread along the Belgian coast. A rich history and unique location we want to share with you.

After 3 years of preparations, the renovation started in the spring of 2007. The old fishermen's house was fitted with all modern comfort: floorheating, modern kitchen and sanitary, isolation en double glass windows. By the end of 2007, 't krabaaltje was again inhabitable!

The surrounding terrain has also been transformed. All foreign threes and hedges have been replaced. The terrace and garden were cleaned and reconstructed.
